Stars That Have Aged Flawlessly, Proving Beauty Is Timeless
Tippi Hedren – 91, The Birds
Reluctant to do films during her successful modeling career in the 50s era, actress Tippi Hedren’s transition to acting came after director Alfred Hitchcock discovered her in 1961 through a TV ad. Thankfully, her decision turned out to be helpful, making Hedren a star after the release of ‘The Birds’ in 1963 and ‘Marnie’ the following year.
Away from the limelight, the actress is an animal lover known for taking care of Shambala Preserve to date through her ‘Roar Foundation’ created in 1983. So, of course, her work as an activist didn’t go unnoticed, and she has been honored with several awards like the ‘PAWS Companion for Life Award,’ which shows that she has a heart of gold.
