The customer in question was a veteran known as Walter ‘Buck’ Swords, and just like Doug, this man dined at the Brownsville eatery every day. Sadly, their loyalty to a specific food joint was the only similarity Doug and Buck shared.
Unlike Doug, Buck was difficult to deal with, and many waiters steered clear of him. Salazar was made aware of Buck’s wild nature but being the greenhorn; she was the perfect person to dump the problematic task on. Understandably, the new employee was worried and nervous when she made her way to the dreaded table, but she had to get it done.
