Hitman For His Girlfriend
After almost 19 years behind bars, former Carolina Panthers wide receiver Rae Carruth was released from prison in 2018. He was sentenced after he conspired to kill his pregnant girlfriend Cherica Adams in 1999. He hired a hitman for $5K to do this and while the woman fought for her life for four months, she eventually passed.
Their child eventually survived after a c-section but suffered permanent brain damage due to the incident. Adams’ mother is said to be raising the kid.
