Barret Robbins’ Fall

As one of the most promising Oakland Raiders, center Barret Robbins was well-loved by the team’s ardent supporters. That may be until he was released in 2004, a year after a tumultuous phase that involved his disappearance from the hotel on the night of Super Bowl XXXVII.

Unfortunately, Robbins arrived incoherent and couldn’t play the game, which the Raiders eventually lost. Later on, the athlete was revealed to have suffered from a mental health issue and at one point, even went into physical altercations with Miami Beach police officers.
