Jovan Belcher’s Death
Kansas City Chiefs linebacker Jovan Belcher was portraying a skilled athlete on the field but behind the scenes, his personal life was suffering. He fatally shot his girlfriend Kasandra Perkins, in their home after arguing about their child’s custody.
Then, he drove to the team’s practice facility and thanked his coaches and general manager, before taking away his own life. Later on it was found that he had Chronic traumatic encephalopathy, which may have been caused by brain trauma or repeated concussion.
