In 2019, Donaldson and another YouTuber, Mark Rober, launched #TeamTrees, an online fundraising event. The campaign planned to raise over $20 million for the Arbor Day Foundation, which is an American nonprofit committed to planting trees.
It’s safe to say the campaign was a huge success; as of December 2019, the project had exceeded its goal of raising $20 million. So far, they have received over $23 million in donations and planted more than nine million trees.
