Cody Miller seemed like a normal kid growing up until he was ten and began to develop pectus excavatum. This is a situation whereby the chest caves in due to abnormal growth of the sternum and ribcage.
This condition caused some complications with his lung and breathing capacity. However, Miller didn’t let that stop him, as he took up the sport of swimming and went on to become an Olympic swimmer, winning seven medals at the World Championship and Olympic games.
