Causing Ripples
It’s funny that the beautiful dog in the picture is called Ripple because his on-air shenanigans caused ripples all over the web. It all started in 2014 when Ripple was on set during the live transmission of the “Global Edmonton” weather forecast. Unable to stay quiet, the furry pet couldn’t stop playing with the forecaster Mike Sobel, who did his best to keep things under control.
Ripple’s playfulness was so endearing to watch that the dog became an overnight Internet celebrity and made headlines in outlets such as ABC News. Who knows? Maybe it’s a good idea to have dogs telling us all about the weather.
