Ann-Margret Discussing Wardrobe In 1963
Fashion trends are reinvented every other year, as evidenced by Ann-Magaret’s ensemble from back in 1963. This photo was taken when Ann-Margret was discussing her wardrobe with the Viva Las Vegas costume designer.
The rushed production didn’t start with a script, but with Ann-Margaret and Elvis Presley as the leads, it took director George Sidney and writer Sally Benson 11 days to pen the story. Sidney explained that initially, it was an Arabian-themed film, but they switched things up and based it in Las Vegas.
