Al Pacino Filming Scar Face
Scarface is a classic film released in 1983, and while the movie was set in Miami, most of it was filmed in Los Angeles. The reason was simple, Florida locals weren’t too keen with the film’s theme shining a light on the cocaine craze that was rampant on the streets.
Al Pacino played the part of Tony Montana, and the character’s iconic house in Miami was located in Santa Barbara. In total, filming in Miami took 12 days, capturing mostly exterior shots.
