Clint Eastwood In 1966

Clint Eastwood has starred in two successful film series, starting with the title role he landed in Sergio Leone’s trilogy of Westerns in the ‘60s. The final out of the lot was The Good, The Bad, The Ugly, and while filming in 1966, this photo of Eastwood taking a breather was snapped.

Eastwood negotiated for a 10% stake of the film’s earnings in North America on top of the $250K he received upfront. Eastwood went on to gain more prominence in the series of Dirty Harry movies.
