The Beatles At Shea Stadium
The Beatles surpassed their previous glory when they put together one of their best performances at the Shea Stadium in 1965. An estimated 56,000 fans filled the bleachers of the New York City stadium just to watch them play.
That was a time before stage monitors and other fancy equipment, but the band rocked away, and fans revered the moment. Sadly, we will never see the band in action like this again, having disbanded in 1970 and two of the members passing away.
