In 1976, King Kong received a modern remake starring Jeff Bridges and Jessica Lange. It was Lange’s first big-screen role fresh out of her runway days. The film became a commercial success despite mixed reviews.
These days Bridges is gearing up to join the cast of the upcoming 2020 thriller The Old Man. Lange is amongst the list of 13 actresses to have received the coveted Triple Crown of Acting honor, and in 2019 she added an Emmy nomination for her role in American Horror Story.
