Malcolm Hebden – 81 Years Old – Retired
Malcolm Hebden is another star who rose from Coronation Street. Fans loved how well he portrayed the role of Norris Cole, which he first took on between 1994 and 1997. He then returned for good in 1999 and stayed until 2017, when he suffered a near-fatal heart attack.
After his recovery, Hebden was only able to make a handful of appearances on the ITV show from 2019 to 2020. By that time, he had already chosen to say goodbye to the busybody character he played for over two decades, retiring at 81 years old.
