Davis Guggenheim is an American writer, director, and producer. He’s the son of the late Charles Guggenheim, the most honored documentary filmmaker of all time, and it shows! After all, Davis is perhaps best known for being the director of the hugely inspirational documentary “An Inconvenient Truth,” narrated by Al Gore. But there’s more (much more) to his massively successful career.

While Davis is still busy producing docs such as “Aftershock” and “Mija,” he’s also worked extensively on fictional projects. Some of the most popular include the TV series “ER,” “24,” “Alias,” “Deadwood,” and “NYPD Blue.” He’s married to “The Karate Kid” star Elisabeth Shue.
