Arlene Dahl — 96 Years Old – Retired
Another one of the last surviving stars of the golden era of Hollywood, Arlene Dahl, is most likely more famous for two things: starring in the cult classic film Journey To The Center Of The Earth and as the mother of actor Lorenzo Lamas.
Dahl continued to have various roles throughout the ’50s and ’60s but turned her attention to business focusing primarily on the beauty industry. Her own company didn’t last long, but she did become vice-president at ad agency Kenyon and Eckhardt. In the ’80s, she would star in one of her longest-standing roles in Soap Opera One Life To Live; this was after she filed for bankruptcy.
