Shirley Anne Field’s childhood was not the most idyllic since she spent most of her time in childcare homes. She went to modeling school and worked as a photographic model for magazines like “Reveille” and “Titbits” and built stability for herself. Field was able to get into show business thanks to the help of an agency.
Field had her breakthrough from “The Entertainer,” which came not long after she launched her career. Even though many years have gone by, her most memorable role will be of Doreen on “Saturday Night and Sunday Morning.” Now in her 80s, Field’s last role as of 2021 was in “Beautiful Relics” in 2014.
