Jon Voight – 83 Years Old – Still Acting and Receiving Awards
Jon Voight came to prominence in the ’60s for his portrayal of Joe Buck in “Midnight Cowboy.” His performance earned an Academy Award nomination, and it skyrocketed his career as a Hollywood icon. He had his prime in the ’70s with the films “Deliverance,” “Coming Home,” and “The Champ.”
Voight’s career slowed down in the ’80s and ’90s, but he earned his fame back in the following decade. His portrayal as Howard Cosell in “Ali” landed him an Academy, Golden Globe, and Critics Choice nominations. In 2019, Voight was awarded the National Medal of Arts, and he is also known as the father of actress Angelina Jolie.
