Before Trace Adkins became a multi-platinum country music star, he was a high school athlete in Louisiana. Adkins played basketball and football and joined the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs as a walk-on offensive lineman. Thankfully, he had more than one passion; his sporting career was cut short due to a knee injury during his first year.
Despite the setback, Adkins became one of the most successful country artists ever. His 2005 album “Songs About Me” sold over two million copies!
