Most people associate Will Ferrell with his funny movie roles or hilarious “Saturday Night Live” skits. But his time as a kicker for University High School’s varsity team in Irvine never seems to come up. He was also involved in other sports during high school, as basketball team captain and playing soccer.
It’s interesting to think that behind Ferrell’s comedic talent was a skilled athlete, which may explain some of his impressive kicks in movies such as “Talladega Nights.”
