Her romantic orientation, however, is not what turned her into such a celebrated figure; it’s her prowess on the soccer pitch that allowed her to find fame and fortune.
A Ballon d’Or, FIFA World Cup, and Olympic gold medal winner, Rapinoe pretty much did everything she could regarding women’s soccer. She’s also a philanthropist who’s collaborated with GLSEN and Athlete Ally.
