Palim Palim! The comedian Dieter Hallervorden became known throughout Germany with his iconic sayings. In particular, the fictional character Didi, which he invented, quickly became a crowd favorite and brought tears of laughter to people’s eyes with his clumsy manner. He was then able to build up a somewhat more serious image with the political cabaret show Hallervordens Spott-Light .
