On the bright side, had it not been for Mueller’s discovery, the Marshall Islands wouldn’t have received this much attention. Since the finding of the ‘Airplane Graveyard,’ this area has become quite the attraction for divers, tourists, and historians. Mueller has unexpectedly helped improve the economy of this poverty-ridden place, for which, she was indeed rewarded.
