So, before we even get into it, let’s just make it clear that these images are not photoshopped. They are actually of a domesticated bear named Stepan, who was raised by a couple named Svetlana and Yuri Panteleenko. They adopted the bear when he was just three months old.
The story goes that, they found him in poor condition, and raised him in their home. The photoshoot that produced this shot was done for an awareness campaign, to spearhead an anti-bear hunting initiative. Stepan starred in films, while the Panteleenko’s have come under fire from animal rights activists claiming they are robbing him of his natural life.
