However, the size may be the least of everyone’s concern because authorities eventually learned that endangered creatures were inside the bottles, too.
Unfortunately, the five seahorses were already dead upon inspection, and the entire bottle was turned over to Michigan Fish and Game. According to Oceana, the International Union for the Conservation of Nature declared the species “vulnerable.”
