We don’t understand the need for a passenger to bring a novelty grenade at an airport when all it can do is cause panic. To some, it may be easy to guess that this is a replica but TSA agents don’t always automatically assume that something is a dummy unless an expert tells them.
This is a prank. A person is expected to pull the pin to get a number. But the TSA didn’t find it funny, so to avoid any confusion, it is better to leave jokes at home.
