Like it or not, baseball is a great game for at least one thing: making up fun puns! In human baseball, a strikeout occurs when a batter receives three strikes and is put out of the game. But in zebra baseball, strikes turn into stripes.
Considering the average zebra has between 52 and 86 stripes (as per “Alexa”), it’s a sad fact of nature that zebras can barely play zebra baseball. Maybe they should change the rules! Why not “100 stripes and you’re out,” for example?
