Twist-off bottle caps never seem to come off easily enough, especially when the bottle is brand new. However, tennis balls can be a grippy solution to this problem. Do not despair—tennis ball to the rescue once again!
Cut a tennis ball in half and cover the cap, then try to screw it open. The inside of the ball is made of reinforced rubber, which produces enough friction with the lid to twist it without hurting the palm of the hand.
