Not everyone is good at fixing electrical problems around the house, but one thing they can all do is remove a burnt-out bulb from the holder. However, it gets harder when the bulb is hot, and there is no time for it to cool.
Slicing a tennis ball in half and using it to press and twist the bulb to remove it proves useful, especially if the bulb is broken, as it is better when no injuries are sustained during the process.
