Galerias Velvet is a love story set in ‘50s Spain. Actor Miguel Angel Silvestre portrays Alberto Marquez who falls in love with Paula Echevarria’s character, Ana Rivera. Marquez is the heir of Spain’s most prestigious fashion house, Galerias Velvet, and Rivera is a seamstress.
This was also a big-budget production with each episode costing an estimated 500,000 Euros. It isn’t the most original story but the production quality and great acting make it riveting.
