Maria Sharapova is a Russian tennis player who won five Grand Slam titles and was one of the game’s top competitors in the early 21st century. She turned pro at the young age of 14, and in 2004, she won her first Grand Slam by defeating the legendary Serena Williams in the Wimbledon final.
A decade later, she was already on her fifth Grand Slam and making waves in the world of tennis. She retired in 2020 after a series of injuries, but not before releasing her memoir, “Unstoppable: My Life So Far,” in 2017.
