Juanita Phillips is an Australian news presenter and journalist who worked her way up from being a cadet journalist in 1982 as a cadet journalist at The Courier-Mail. Her job took her to TVQ-10, where she worked as a reporter and presenter, making her national debut in 1993. While some might never forget her 2007 on-air coughing fit, others saw more value in her articles for The Bulletin the same year.
In 2012, Phillips began a relationship with Greg Combet, then the Minister for Climate Change and Energy Efficiency. The following year, their UNION was subject to some controversy after it was discovered that a first-class overseas trip was paid for from government funds.
