Known for her association with Network Ten as a newsreader, when she was the co-host of Ten Eyewitness News in Queensland, Tracey Leigh Spicer is an award-winning journalist and social justice advocate. Her television career began when she worked for Southern Cross Television before she moved to the Nine Network.
Spicer has produced a documentary for the World Wildlife Fund, World Vision, and other NGOs about the plight of women across different countries. She was appointed as a Member of the Order of Australia and is married to Jason Thompson, and their union has produced two children so far.
