How The Best Bond Girls Of All Times Look Like Now Will Surprise You
Fiona Volpe – Thunderball (1965)
When the Bond films started featuring the criminal organization called Spectre, they needed the perfect actress to play the female assassin named Fiona Volpe. Step in Italian-Ameican actress Luciana Paluzzi, who had the right mix of sultry allure and killer instinct to play the role.
Paluzzi made a name for herself in action films like No Time To Die and Sea Fury. This geared her up nicely to play an assassin in a Bond film, and she didn’t disappoint. Despite the profile it gave her, she never really landed any other substantial roles. Paluzzi eventually retired in 1978.
