How The Best Bond Girls Of All Times Look Like Now Will Surprise You
Tilly Masterson – Goldfinger (1964)

Tanya Mallet wanted to be a Bond girl so bad that she auditioned to play the Russian agent Tatiana Romanova. Despite being Russian herself, she never got the part because of her English accent. But then, when they were casting for Goldfinger, one of the casting agents remembered her.
While she proved to be a great Bond girl, and the film would be a critical and box office hit, for Mallet, acting wasn’t a promising career, and she retired in 1976, returning to modeling. She cited a disdain for the restriction placed on her and the pay as her reasons for not pursuing acting further. Mallet passed away in March 2019.
