It’s Hard To Forget These Biggest NFL Draft Busts

Ryan Leaf – Indianapolis Colts, 1998 Draft

Ryan Leaf was undoubtedly an exceptionally skilled football player. After all, he started 24 out of the 32 games he had played in his college years. Sadly, this star would later learn that prosperity requires more than just talent.

While the footballer delivered in the field after being the Indianapolis Colts’ second pick in the 1998 draft, everything else was questionable. Leaf would party all night and therefore be too tired the next day for practice or play golf while other team members were meeting to strategize how to improve their game. It was soon apparent that this former athlete lacked the focus to make it in the NFL.
