It’s Hard To Forget These Biggest NFL Draft Busts

Maurice Clarett – Denver Broncos, 2005 Draft

Maurice Clarett’s reputation preceded him in the big leagues as he led the Ohio State Buckeyes to a championship in 2002. We might get blown away finding out he achieved this with the team when he was only a freshman; while recording 1,237 rushing yards and 18 touchdowns.

Unfortunately, Clarett’s college run was cut short as several academic issues emerged, but that wasn’t the end of his career. Shortly thereafter, he was drafted by the Denver Broncos in 2005, which surprised many. Nevertheless, despite the opportunity given the young player, he never played a single match for the Broncos and sadly had a series of troubles with the law.
