Another thing that one might witness only in Japan is bodybuilder ‘Teletubbies.’ Even though the cartoon characters had round bellies on the show, it seems they have gotten fitter with time. Originally aired from 1997 to 2001, the series still seems to have quite an impact on the Japanese people.
These muscular men participated in a bodybuilding competition dressed as Teletubbies. Now we are in a dilemma if we like this buffed-up version or the good-old chubby ones better. Either way, we believe this tournament must have been as entertaining as the TV program, perhaps even better!
