The Dutch long-distance and marathon swimmer is an Olympic champion and a fundraising hero, having raised over seven million dollars for charity during his 2019 Elfstedentocht swim. Although he’s already retired, his impressive accomplishments will always be remembered for pushing past normal limits in the waters.
