The Quest for the Return Key
There’s no way this guy can return home without the “return” key, right? We wonder what he had to do to get it back and why it was held on to in the first place. This seems like an excuse to keep an unnecessary job functioning, which the joke is probably taking a jab at.
Interestingly, Windows keyboards no longer have a “return” key, while Macs have it with the “enter” key. The term “return” originated from typewriters’ carriage mechanism, but it’s just a line break in electronic documents.
