Anti-Americanism is pretty prevalent in this day and age. But even though non-Americans love to hate the USA, there are plenty of reasons why America is still one of the world’s greatest countries. In this list, a bunch of non-Americans was asked to name the things they still love about America. And while it’s always easier to focus on the negative side of something, their answers have proven that there are still good reasons to feel proud about being an American. The Eagle may not fly as high as it did back in the good old days, but people all over the world still pay homage to one of the wealthiest countries on earth, and their reasons may surprise even some of our most patriotic American readers.
Make no mistake: America, just like any country in the world, is far from perfect. But nothing will make Americans feel prouder of their nationality than the unbiased admiration of the non-Americans in our list. After all, America is still known as the land of the free!
