They pulled the first puppy out of her. It was a good thing they were present because had they not helped her in time, Rio would have died. Luckily after the first puppy was taken out, all the other eight came out without any complications.
The first one was stuck which was backing up all the others. Louise remembers the whole situation and claimed that they had to help Rio and the puppy get out. Otherwise, it would’ve been a major problem.
