Lost In Translation

The Thai language is the official language spoken in the country, and linguists estimate that about 85% of the population use is. There are several other regional languages spoken in Thailand including Phu Thai, Nyaw, and Lu.

Most public signs are written in the Thai script but several also carry translations to make it easy for tourists to understand. The only problem is that many of the translations seem to be literal or simply jumbled up. We are sure this sign didn’t intend to encourage visitors to swim in the dangerous area!
