Couchsurfing refers to a temporary stay overnight at a friend’s sofa, but this photo shows us the word’s literal meaning. It’s hard to imagine what science went behind this stunt, but kudos to the friends for being able to think of a floatable device to help realize their idea.
It is also cool that these guys wore flippers while “couchsurfing.” Also called swim fins, these things, usually slipped on the feet, were invented by Benjamin Franklin when he was just 11.
