We can’t blame Meghan Markle for the next wardrobe fluke because if we must admit it, we’ve all been victims at some point. When she was visiting Birmingham in 2018, she was pictured wearing a rather lovely coat with only one problem.
The final stitching, also known as the X-shaped tacking stitch, was still visible at the hem. Typically, it holds the coat’s vent together, preventing it from being pulled out of shape or wrinkled when hanging on a rack or during shipping.
