Our brave young couple knew almost nothing about the house. Sitting in the small-town of Dunoon, the property was close enough to Glasgow, one of Scotland’s biggest cities. The good news is that it was a beautiful Victorian-styled house with over 120 years of history and a beautiful brick-tiled front.
The bad news… Well, where to start? The rusty building was barely holding together. Structural elements were missing, the piping and wiring were a disaster, and even the garden required some relentless trimming. Still, Cal and Claire could not feel prouder about their project. They were determined to give life back to this once-splendorous Scottish manor.
