This nice neighbor was amongst Cal and Claire’s benefactors and turned in to help the young couple to chop some backyard trees. As two nature-lovers, Cal and Claire would never take a tree down unless it was absolutely necessary. But they were having so many issues during Scotland’s seemingly endless rainy season that they were forced to take action.
The problem with having so many trees in the property was the mud. Since there were a lot of places the sun didn’t reach, messy puddles were forming all over, making Cal and Claire’s day-to-day extremely complicated. With fewer trees in the garden, the piles of mud slowly started to disappear.
