Every construction worker out there knows there is nothing like a solid set of sturdy metal beams to keep you safe. Cal and Claire were adventurous but responsible workers, so they quickly installed these metal beams to keep the old manor from collapsing into the ground.
As you can see, the Scottish manor was mainly built out of old wood, and most of the house’s interior was rotting due to humidity and years of abandonment. For our young couple, spending the day working in these dangerous conditions was a lot easier with the assurance of a proper foundation.
