The Funniest Sports Anchor Fails To Leave You Laughing Nonstop
A Ball With A Vengeance
Cricket reporter Melinda Farrell earned a real badge of honor after being whacked in the back by a hard-hitting New Zealand cricketer’s stray ball. The ESPN journalist copped a blow at Lord’s Cricket Ground as Black Caps star Tim Southee practiced his batting.

The laughable but no doubt painful moment was caught on camera just as she started to deliver a report. While her co-reporters Andrew McGlashan and George Dobell narrowly avoided the ball, a loud whack was heard when it struck Farrell in the back.
