Video footage of Portugal’s Cristiano Ronaldo being grumpy has emerged, bringing an impromptu interview to a sudden halt. The incident happened several hours before Portugal’s decisive Euro 2016 Group F clash with Hungary in the French city of Lyon.
When the journalist from Portugal’s CMTV approached to ask if he was prepared for the game, Ronaldo grabbed the microphone from him with one hand and pitched it into the water. Jose Delgado, a correspondent for Portuguese daily A Bola, said Ronaldo was frustrated by his poor performances.
